Meteor show trip

The meteor shower was this past weekend so we decided to go somewhere we could actually see it. We headed on over to Goldendale, WA, because they have an observatory there and the population is only 4,000.

Here is the observatory we went to. There are no pics of us watching it that night because it was so dark. The meteor shower was truly amazing!

After the meteor shower we decided to head over to Mt Adams.

Andrew and the girls

The boys and I

Here we are in the town of Glenwood

Mt. Adams is beautiful!

Andrew and I in the forest area that is part of the Yakima reservation.

We then went to an ice cave

Parker had to take a lick. his tongue did not get stuck.

Here we are at the end of the ice cave.

After the ice cave, we went to a natural bridge.

Then we picked blueberries that were all over.

We had a great weekend! Summer break is almost over! Enjoy while you can!
