Birthday and Painting

We celebrated Samantha's birthday this weekend. Since Samantha likes the web game VMK I did a cake from that. She seemed to like it. We also started some painting projects. We started with the Family Room.
Here is color of the Family Room before the painting-ignore me in the Hula skirt.
Here is the Family Room after the painting-

This is where we had to store everthing during the painting- the kids had fun making a fort, under the rugs and couches.

Lovin' the pic of you in the hula skirt! I love the 'warm' color choice for the family room! How fun to have a change! :)

Nice painting job! Was it wall paper before? How do you write samantha so well on the cake? I can bake, but now writing or draw on them well. :)

The other paint job was gray, blue and green done with a bag, I think. I like the vanilla better. The Samantha was written with a small tube of decorating gel.

We are anxious to see your handiwork. We really enjoyed being with you all in Utah. Thanks for the effort to support your sister and brother.
