Our family went to Victoria, British Columbia this past weekend. First we took the Victoria Clipper over to the island. Zachary and Samantha both got sick along the way, nothing new for Samantha. We were happy to have Grandma and Grandpa with us on this trip.

The Empress is a beautiful hotel that opened in 1908.

We went to the Undersea Gardens, in the harbor in Victoria.

The highlight of the trip was going to Butchart Gardens
Andrew and I by the Ross fountain.
I loved all the flowers so I took many pictures.
Samantha is as beautiful as these flowers!
These flowers are called Scotsmans purse. A very unique flower I thought.

We had a great trip. We also encountered Darth Vader playing the violin on the street, winter olympic wear for the 2010 games in Vancouver and miniature world!

What a fun trip!! I have wanted to go to Canada for many years. The pictures were beautiful and the hotel "The Empress" was just gorgeous!! Looks like you and your family are doing great!

Thanks for stopping by! We're glad to see everyone. We went there before Hazel's born, and we only ate brunch at that hotel -- not staying though, a fancy hotel! :)
