I love Spring !!!

Springtime is a beautiful time of year. I love the color of the trees by our house. I had to snap a picture before the trees lost their flowers. :(

We are all excited to head to Arizona next week and see my family.

Writing again!

I seem to be writing after I have finished helping with a school activity. Last week, at Badger Mtn. Elementary they had science week and parents teach the kids. I helped with the 5th grade science, they studied Marine Biology. At first you might think that it is a hard assignment, but it wasn't too difficult. I got a list of those who wanted to help and I assigned them a day to present their topic. This year the kids studied salmon, shark, did experiments with fat, and they had marine mammal jeopardy. So you say if it wasn't too difficult why did it take you so long to write on your blog? Okay, when I have an activity like that it is the only thing I think about, I am not good at balancing. Now you know.


Last week, was Parker's first Pinewood derby. He had a great time! Here is picture from the race. I wish I was able to go but Jessica had a band concert so Samantha and I went to that.

Parker's car did well.

We will be heading to Arizona next week to see my family. We are all excited to go. The girls are a little hesitant to go to Grandmas since the last time I was there I was stung by a scorpion. We will just have to make sure it is safe with a black light flashlight.

Fun Weekend!

On Friday,a friend and I put together a party for the seventh graders and these are the shirts we made for the party. This is me happy that the party is over. I think that they all had a good time.
The kids went to a Primary activity at Home Depot and made toolboxes-

Jessica went to the seventh grade party and had a wonderful time!! The best party she has been to in a long time!!

Snow trip!

Jessica is competing in the science fair at Carmichael Middle School. Her project was on bleaching teeth. I went to the school to see how she was doing and she had just made it to the second round of judging, yeah. We will let you know how the rest of the judging went. We are so proud of her.
