Fun boat ride!

Saturday we took the kids on the boat. It was cloudy for most of the afternoon but it did not rain.The boys like to sit in the front, but when it got cold they moved to the back.

Jessica invited Amanda to come along.


The boys are looking pretty cool with their water guns. They enjoyed squirting the guns while the boat was in motion and getting us all wet.



We had not been this far on the Snake River.

What a beautiful river!
We decided to turn back when we realized that we could not call anyone if we had any problems. No cell reception out here!

We are pulling Samantha, I think, and her friend Maddie.

Our lovely Samantha turned 13 over the weekend!!

She had a few friends over. They played games, Pictionary, RockBand and Killer Bunnies!

Braces off!

Jessica got her braces off today! Here she is walking down the red carpet!
She is so happy to have them off!

Fun weekend!

We went on a hike this past weekend- the trail is called Iron Goat Trail.

The trail is a few miles past Stevens Pass. The kids had a fun snowball fight.

Their was so much water it ran off the top of the snow barrier.

No one wants to get wet, we really did ,it was getting hot.

The waterfalls along the trail were beautiful.

We were in Leavenworth,WA, A cute, little swiss town. I love taffy.



An Art show was going on. They had entertainment for the kids.

Parker made it to the top.

Zachary had a good time!


There was a cool hat shop. Samantha makes a scary Medusa.

We played golf. A beautiful waterfall was near the end.

scouts and snow!

Our latest Pack meeting we talked about America. I made Andrew wear the hat. We had US jokes, facts and sang songs.

Yesterday, the clouds came in and we had snow/hail, it was bizarre. They looked like miniature snowballs.

The snowballs looked like styrofoam packing on the loose.

Samantha had a blast!

The girls played in a piano adjudications. The girls had to memorize a piano piece and they played it for a adjudicator(a master piano player). The girls did a great job and the adjudicator had some words of wisdom for them after they played.

Sorry I have not updated in a month. Here is what we have been up to.

I went to a curriculum night at the elementary school. I played some math games with Zachary.

Parker pretended he was Alfred Ely Beach at their Night in the Museum. The kids pretended that they were famous people. The kids would be frozen and when someone would come up to them and say a certain word they would tell a little about themselves. Parker famous person designed the first subway.

Samantha and Emily played a violin and cello duet at their school's Solo and Ensemble festival. They did a wonderful job.

A while back the boys participated in our ward's pinewood derby. The boys had a great time. Zachary's car took 2nd place.

Jessica went to a friends birthday party. The theme was the 80's. I don't think she used enough gel.

Jessica had fun. Extreme leggings!

Samantha made a lot of chocolate chip cookies this weekend for her Science Fair Project. She wanted to show what happens when the amount of Baking Soda is changed.

No more cookies for a while.
